My name is Simon Arthur-Smith. I am an experienced counsellor, now in my fourteenth year of private practice, offering therapy both remotely (via Skype and telephone) and from counselling rooms in Hove (I offer a limited number of appointments at both 17 Melville Road, Hove, and 1 Wilbury Avenue, Hove). I am committed to providing effective (and cost-effective) counselling and psychotherapy in a safe, confidential and totally non-judgmental environment.
I am a Registered and Accredited member of the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy.
I counsel individuals one-to-one, either for an agreed time period, or on an open-ended basis - my aim as a counsellor is to enable you to improve your quality of life and live life more fully.

My two Hove practice locations are not just convenient for people residing in Brighton & Hove, but also residents of Portslade, Southwick, Shoreham-by-Sea, Lancing and Steyning. I also provide virtual appointments via Zoom and phone for your convenience.
My sessional rates are as follows:
For 'remote' appointments (appointments via Skype or telephone): £50 for 60-minute appointments (except for Saturday appointments, which are £55)
For 'in-person' appointments in Hove: £60 for 60-minute appointments and £85 for 90-minute appointments (most EMDR appointments will be 90-minutes in length).
